CSWEP Business Meeting & Award Ceremony


All economists are invited to attend CSWEP’s Business Meeting and Award Ceremony Luncheon, held annually during the AEA Meeting. During this meeting, CSWEP presents its Annual Report on Women in the Economics Profession, including time for audience questions. The meeting is also the event at which the Carolyn Shaw Bell Award and the Elaine Bennett Research Prize are conferred. Attendees will have the opportunity to listen to talks given by the award recipients.

The 2024 Business Meeting and Award Ceremony Luncheon will be on Saturday, January 6, 2024 at 12:30 PM - 2:15 PM CT at the Grand Hyatt San Antonio, Second Floor, Lone Star Ballroom Salon D. Registration is required through Eventbrite. 

If you missed the 2023 business meeting, you can still enjoy seeing the CSWEP Annual Report presented and speeches from the 2022 Carolyn Shaw Bell Award recepient and 2022 Elaine Bennett Research Prize recipient.
