Full Text of JOE Listing:

The USGS Wetland and Aquatic Research Center is looking to hire a Natural Resource Economist Research Position as part of the prestigious Mendenhall Research Fellowship Program. This is a temporary appointment with the federal government. The researcher would work on developing their own research program. Funding for research program development may also be available. Given our close relationship with the University of Florida (we are co-located with UF), the researcher would also have opportunities to work with graduate students (several of the researchers at our center have courtesy appointments) Below is a link with more details about the position, the closing date will be extended until April 22, but we encourage the candidates to contact us (Dr. Martin, julienmartin@usgs.gov) and Dr. Daniel (wdaniel@usgs.gov) ASAP. Candidates will have to write a proposal as part of their application and we would be happy to discuss the process in more details with potential candidates.
