The Department of Applied Economics at Oregon State University in Corvallis, Oregon, invites applications for a full-time 1.00 FTE, tenure‐track assistant professor position in Food Marketing and Demand Analysis with a start date of September 15, 2016. We seek candidates to teach at the undergraduate and graduate levels and conduct well-targeted applied research.

This position requires a PhD or equivalent in Agricultural Economics, Applied Economics, Economics, or closely related field by the appointment date, proficiency in oral and written English and, a commitment to promoting and enhancing diversity and student success. A preferred qualification is interest and/or experience working on food marketing and demand analysis topics related to specialty food sectors such as wine, craft beer, and cheese.
