The Department of Economics, Rutgers University, New Brunswick is looking to hire two full-time teaching instructors. Teaching responsibilities of these positions include teaching large sections (200+ students) of principles of macroeconomics and microeconomics and also elective courses. In addition to teaching, a successful candidate will act as a coordinator and supervisor of part-time lecturers and teaching assistants for intro level courses. Ph.D. in Economics preferred. Applicants must have three years’ experience in teaching economics at the University level, including previous experience teaching large sections. Starting salary is $50,000. Expected start date is September 1, 2015. Positions are renewable contingent upon satisfactory formal evaluation, availability of funding and a continued need for the position.
