Visiting Assistant Professor, Economics

The Department of Economics invites applications for a one year (potentially renewable) visiting assistant professor position beginning in August 2015.

Candidates should have superior teaching skills, experience beyond the TA level, and ideally a Ph.D. in economics by the summer of 2015. Candidates should have microeconomics teaching interests such as labor, income distribution, behavioral, industrial organization, and public economics and will be required to teach sections of economic principles, statistics and intermediate microeconomics.

Candidates will teach a 3-3 teaching load. We are also looking for a candidate who is attracted to exploring alternative conceptual and ideological perspectives and would welcome contributing to a pluralist economics department and evolving curriculum.
