Applications are invited for the position of Barclays Career Development Fellow in Entrepreneurial Finance at Saïd Business School. Based in the FAME (Finance, Accounting, Management Science and Economics) academic area, the Fellow will be expected to define and execute a research agenda in entrepreneurial finance focused specifically on addressing the funding gap faced by start‐ups. The appointee will work closely with Professor Thomas Hellmann, Professor of Entrepreneurship and Innovation, but it is expected that s/he will be fully integrated into the academic and scholarly life of the academic area. The successful candidate will teach on degree or executive programmes, and help to supervise doctoral students, masters theses and research assistants. The fellow will also be expected to produce independent academic research aimed at top peer-reviewed journals and to present this research at national and international conferences, define research projects with a high impact on practice or policy and manage research projects and joint activities with industry partners.
