The Department of Economics invites applications for at least one tenure-track or tenured position. Candidates (Assistant, Associate and Full Professor) will be considered; appointments begin August, 2015.

The Department is particularly seeking applications from exceptional candidates in Industrial Organization, Health, Education, Labor and Public Economics. Candidates are expected to conduct policy-relevant research, supervise Ph.D. dissertation research and teach at the graduate and undergraduate levels. A successful candidate at the Assistant Professor rank will provide evidence of potential research excellence and a commitment to teaching. Successful candidates for tenured positions will have demonstrated research and teaching excellence. The positions require a Ph.D. in economics or closely related field.

Review of applications will begin October 2014 and continue until the positions are filled. Representatives of the Department will be present at the January 2015 (Boston) ASSA meetings.
