The Department of Economics at Sonoma State University is seeking applications for a tenure-track appointment at the rank of assistant professor beginning August 2015, subject to final budgetary approval. Responsibilities may include teaching courses in public economics, labor economics, principles and intermediate microeconomic theory, and applied econometrics. Teaching load is 3 courses per semester. Applicants must possess: a PhD in Economics (or with expected completion by August 2015); excellent teaching skills; the ability to perform quality research; and a commitment to service at the department, school, university, and community levels.
