Call for Sessions and Papers for the 2027 AEA Annual Meeting
Members wishing to present papers or organize complete sessions for the AEA program at the 2027 ASSA Meeting in Washington, DC, are invited to submit proposals electronically to AEA President-elect Janice Eberly beginning March 1. While papers covering a wide array of topics in economics will be included on the program, Professor Eberly especially encourages proposals on the investments and institutions that support economic growth and standards of living. These areas should be interpreted broadly, including research on innovation, education and human capital, health, housing, the environment, and effective policy institutions. The submission portal will open on March 1 at https://www.aeaweb.org/conference/submissions.
Additional opportunities to be involved in lightning round and poster sessions will be available for the 2027 annual meeting. When submitting an individual paper through the standard portal, indicate your interest by checking the box to be considered for a lightning round or poster presentation.
