CSQIEP: Call for Abstracts for 2027 ASSA Paper Sessions

 

CSQIEP Call for Abstracts
Sessions at 2027 ASSA/AEA Meeting: January 3-5, 2027 (Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday)

CSQIEP invites abstract submissions for paper presentations at two CSQIEP-sponsored sessions at the 2027 ASSA/AEA Meeting in Washington D.C.

  • One session will be focused on LGBTQ+ economics related topics; any economics paper relevant to LGBTQ+ populations would be appropriate
  • The second session will feature work from graduate students and early-career researchers (no more than two years since completing their Ph.D.); submissions on any economics topic will be considered.

Papers on LGBTQ+ economics topics chosen for the first session will be eligible for publication in the 2027 AEA Papers & Proceedings. Authors of accepted abstracts will be invited to submit their paper for publication consideration in December.

To submit a paper for consideration, please use the AEA-CSQIEP submission portal which will be available starting on March 1st (portal link coming soon).

Submission Deadline: April 1, 2026 (individual papers) or April 15, 2026 (full sessions).
