The Economics Department at UNC Charlotte invites applications for a one-year full-time appointment as a Visiting Assistant Professor. Candidates are expected to teach two courses per semester. Those courses will include courses in econometrics at the undergraduate and Master’s levels for Economics and Mathematical Finance programs. While there are no formal research or service requirements for a visiting position, all full-time faculty should contribute to advancing the goals in the University's strategic plan.

Qualifications
To teach the Master’s courses, candidates need a completed doctorate in economics or a related field by the start of appointment and research experience, either applied or theoretical, related to econometrics. Candidates must meet the requirements to be classified as a Scholarly Academic per the Belk College Policy on Faculty Qualification Status.
