Full Text of JOE Listing:

The Oregon Public Utility Commission (PUC) is looking for a Division Administrator in the agency's Rates, Finance, and Analysis (RFA) division.

The RFA Administrator plays a key role in the financial aspect of utility regulation, managing a team of dedicated staff, formulating appropriate methods of analysis, and executing those methods on complex utility accounting and financial economics.

The ideal candidate will be interested in advising agency leadership and developing a high functioning team of managers and technical experts in the primary areas of: addressing how rates for regulated utilities are established; the impact of how new policies and laws are translated into utility rates and programs; reviewing and identifying prudently incurred costs in electric generating plants including renewable resources; and designing innovative rate mechanisms that promote the efficient use of energy and carbon emission reductions.

The PUC offices are located in downtown Salem, in close proximity to the State Capitol, and PUC maintains a Portland satellite office.
