The Department of Economics in the Poole College of Management of North Carolina State University in Raleigh, North Carolina invites applications for a full-time, non-tenure-track position at the rank of Assistant Teaching Professor.

Primary responsibility is teaching courses in the undergraduate programs. The candidate is expected to teach various courses, especially econometrics. The ideal candidate will have a commitment to inclusiveness and diversity, and a commitment to academic excellence.

Assistant Teaching Professor typically teaches three class sections per semester, with additional scholarly research responsibilities. Candidates must also be contributing faculty members to department and college service activities.

Subject to budget contingencies, the appointment will begin on August 16, 2022. Applicants should hold a PhD in economics or related discipline by that date. Compensation will be based on candidate’s experience and credentials.
