The Dukakis Center for Urban and Regional Policy (DCURP) at Northeastern University invites applications for two full-time post-doctoral Research Fellows beginning in the Summer of 2022 to contribute to our ongoing work on youth employment. One fellow will work closely with Professors Alicia Sasser Modestino and Mindy Marks to test the effectiveness of various features of the Boston Summer Youth Employment Program including job laddering across summers, learn and earn conditional cash transfers, and virtual internship options. The other fellow will work closely with Professors Alicia Sasser Modestino and Anthony Braga to conduct a long-term evaluation of the impact of the Boston Summer Youth Employment Program on both criminal justice and academic outcomes.

Qualifications include a Ph.D. (received or expected by July 2022) in Economics with a focus on labor or criminal justice and experience conducting quantitative data collection and analysis. Fellows will serve in a 12-month appointment, beginning July 1, 2022 with potential to renew for a second year.
