The Department of Economics and Statistics is seeking applicants for a tenure-track faculty position at the Assistant Professor rank. An earned doctorate (Ph.D.) in Economics, with an emphasis in Applied Microeconomics or other closely-related area, from an accredited institution (or equivalent) is required. Applicants nearing completion of the doctorate (ABD) may be considered. For appointment, the doctorate degree must be completed by the date of appointment (8/18/2022).
Preferred qualifications include demonstrated teaching/research experience or course work in a secondary field in Urban/Public Economics, and demonstrated record of scholarly research and publication.
