The Department of Economics in the Andrew Young School of Policy Studies at Georgia State University invites applications for a one-year visiting position at an Assistant Professor level, with the position beginning August 2022. The appointment may have the possibility of renewal, depending upon future allocations of faculty positions. This position involves substantial teaching responsibilities in both lower and upper level undergraduate courses. The ideal candidate will have an interest in or experience with developing online and hybrid courses.

Preference will be given to applicants with teaching experience. Teaching experience or the ability to teach courses in some of the following areas at the undergraduate (or MA) level are a plus: international economics, money and banking, industrial organization, and applied quantitative analysis, while at the same time being a prominent player in core courses (principles of microeconomics, principles of macroeconomics, and/or global economics). Applicants should have received a Ph.D. in economics prior to employment.
