We invite applications for tenure-track or tenured positions in all fields of Economics. Junior candidates are expected to demonstrate a high potential for innovative research. Senior candidates should additionally have a successful publication record in leading economic journals.

The IDC has over 8,000 undergraduate and graduate students, over 1/4 of which are international students. The School of Economics offers undergraduate degrees in Hebrew and in English, and partners with the business school and the school of Psychology on MA programs (in English) in Financial and Behavioral Economics, respectively. Teaching responsibilities include developing undergraduate and graduate courses and supervising MA students. Prior knowledge of Hebrew is not required.

Applicants should submit their cover letter, curriculum vitae, job-market paper and teaching evaluations.
Junior applicants should additionally arrange for three recommendation letters. Senior applicants should submit the names of at least three references. Applicants should indicate in their cover letter why they are interested in working in Israel.

Application deadline is December 1, 2021. Applicants who would like to be considered for early flyouts are strongly encouraged to apply before November 15, 2021. Final decisions, including assignment of rank, are subject to resource availability and the final decision of the Provost.
