The School:
The International Business School is a newly established platform to attract intellects from home and abroad; a base to cultivate international talents; an institution to devote in high-level scientific research; a college to pursue international cooperation with oversea universities and research institutes. Taking the internationalization as the core competitiveness, the innovation as the driving force, we aim to forge an IBS brand combining the characteristics of Zhejiang Province with the internationalization.

Area of Specialization:
The International Business School is accepting applications for positions at the level of assistant/associate/full professor until they are filled. Preference will be given to candidates with a focus in economics related fields.

Responsibilities:
You will be expected to contribute significantly to the development of the schools’ research strategies, to contribute to the formulation and submission of research publications and research proposals, to be active in applying research funding, and to engage in both undergraduate and postgraduate teaching.

Qualifications and Requirements:
Applicants must hold a Ph.D. degree, an anticipated PhD completion or equivalent in Economics related fields. Candidates for junior positions must demonstrate potential for academic excellence and publication in high-quality academic journals. Candidates for senior positions should have an outstanding record of publications in top-tier academic journals and recognized academic achievements.

Remuneration:
Salary will be by negotiation within the professorial salary range. Being commensurate with qualifications and experience, the starting salary for PhD graduates will be RMB 300,000 to 500,000 per annum and that for distinguished professors will be competitive. The successful applicant can apply for subsidized campus housing or rent subsidies. The faculty positions carry a three-year contract. After the contract period, subject to performance, the position holder may be employed as a tenure-track associate or full professor in the University.
