The National School of Development (NSD) at Peking University, a leading Chinese
institution in economic teaching and research, is offering 2-3 positions at visiting assistant professor rank. The positions are non-tenure track. The candidates, once hired, will be given a two-year contract with possibility of extension. Applications for more senior visiting positions will be considered for outstanding candidates. Candidates from all fields in economics are welcome.

These visiting faculty positions are created to enhance NSD’s international program. Teaching will be in English. Candidates with strong interests and ability in teaching are particularly welcome.

The positions require a Ph.D. (or expected completion in 2021). Normal teaching load is two courses per semester at both undergraduate and graduate level. Salary and benefits are competitive and commensurate with qualifications and experience.

The deadline for application is 20th December, 2020. Initial interviews will be conducted virtually during the AEA meeting in January 2021.
