NSF is recruiting a temporary/rotator Program Director for the Economics Program in the Division of Social and Economic Sciences: (https://www.nsf.gov/div/index.jsp?div=SES). This is a chance to visit NSF for two years and have an impact on economics research and funding. You will work with Nancy Lutz and another rotator to evaluate economics proposals, represent economics and social science inside NSF, and work on interdisciplinary research competitions. The position will start August 2021 (some flexibility may be possible). Also, it may be possible to perform the job remotely for some period of time depending on public health considerations. Qualified applicants must have a Ph.D. or equivalent degree in a field relevant to economic science, and must hold a tenured academic position or have 6 years of research experience with an equivalent publication record.
