The Environmental Studies Program at the College of the Holy Cross invites applications for a full-time, two-year postdoctoral fellowship (2020-2022) to begin August 2020. A recent Ph.D. with a strong emphasis in environmental studies within the humanities, arts, and social sciences is required. A Ph.D. from an interdisciplinary program in Environmental Studies is preferred. Scholars whose work addresses one or more of the following issues will be of particular interest: environmental racism, social and economic justice, globalism, urban nature, environmentally displaced communities.

The fellow will teach three courses per year (2-1 or 1-2), including Environmental Perspectives, an introduction to Environmental Studies. The appointment includes a competitive salary and full benefits. Candidates must demonstrate commitment to, and excellence in, undergraduate teaching as informed by current practice and scholarship in the field.
