The research/teaching experience of the successful candidate must advance our program in Business Economics. Desired fields include Corporate or International Finance, Portfolio Theory, Money and Banking, Business Ethics, or Corporate Governance. As a liberal arts college, we value critical inquiry. We especially welcome applications from candidates who embrace interdisciplinarity and pluralism through a knowledge of contested theoretical/empirical approaches to Business Economics. All applicants must demonstrate a promise of excellence in working with students from diverse backgrounds.

In order to be given full consideration, applicants must submit the items specified below by November 30, 2019. The Department of Economics values and appreciates methodological diversity within economics. The diversity statement should detail how the applicant has engaged or expects to engage with issues of diversity in the classroom, the curriculum, and on campus. In the cover letter, we ask the candidate to discuss how they might contribute to our culture of pluralistic open inquiry.
