The Institute of Social and Economic Research (ISER) of Osaka University invites applications for one assistant professor position (Jokyo, in Japanese) in economics, beginning on or after April 1, 2020, and ending on March 31, 2023. The appointment is for the fixed term mentioned above, with no renewal. All fields of economics will be considered, but preference will be given to applicants that have experience with questionnaire surveys and/or economic experiments.
Duties include maintaining a questionnaire-survey database, which is made publicly available by ISER (via our website) and includes Japanese-language data. Excellent Japanese-language proficiency is also required.
