The Economics and Management Department at DePauw University invites applications for an Assistant Professor tenure-track position to begin in August 2020. Salary and benefits are competitive and commensurate with qualifications. Ph.D. is preferred, ABD will be considered. The department seeks candidates whose primary field is labor economics. Candidates must have a strong commitment to teaching undergraduates in a liberal arts environment for a diverse body of students. The teaching load is three courses per semester. Teaching responsibilities will include teaching department core courses and courses in the area of specialty that would include, but is not limited to, labor economics and related subfields. A complete application must include an application letter, curriculum vitae, a research paper, statements of teaching philosophy and scholarly interests, evidence of teaching effectiveness, a diversity statement highlighting a commitment to support diversity and inclusion in an academic setting, three letters of reference, and a copy of all graduate transcripts.
