The Deutsche Bundesbank’s Research Centre is interested in hiring economists with a PhD or PhD nearing completion in Economics, Finance or Econometrics. We will be conducting interviews at the European Job Market in Rotterdam, Netherlands, on 18-19 December 2019 and at the ASSA Annual Meeting in San Diego, United States, on 3-5 January 2020.

The Bundesbank’s Research Centre conducts research and provides research-based policy advice in a broad range of fields including macroeconomics, financial economics, banking, applied time series econometrics, household finance, and applied microeconomics (see https://www.bundesbank.de/en/bundesbank/research/research-centre). We are particularly interested in candidates with a focus on monetary policy implementation, consumer expectations, digital currencies, and sustainable finance.

Interested researchers should submit the following documents via the EconJobMarket website:
