The Department of Economics at the University of North Texas invites applications for an assistant professor beginning fall 2020. Candidates must either have a Ph.D. in economics or related field -- or provide evidence it will be completed by August 2020. Desired fields include the applied microeconomics and applied econometrics areas of urban, regional, labor or environmental economics. Applicants must have a desire to excel in both research and teaching. Salary is competitive.
