The Department of Economics, Finance and International Business of the Grenon School of Business seeks a full-time, tenure track assistant professor of finance, beginning August 2020. The faculty hired will teach undergraduate courses in finance, and will assist in the development of a new major in finance. The successful candidate will have opportunities to develop new courses commensurate with professional interests and expertise

Ph.D. or D.B.A. (ABD considered) in finance and commitment to undergraduate teaching and liberal arts education. Will consider Ph.D. in disciplines related to finance. For those candidates whose doctoral degrees are in non-finance disciplines, relevant work experience in the area of finance and a CFA are preferred.

Duties will include a 4/3 course load, participating in curriculum design and assessment, continued professional development and advising students. Applicants must be willing to contribute actively to the mission of the College as well as show respect for the Catholic and Assumptionist identity of Assumption College.
