The Graduate School of Economics at Kobe University in Japan invites applications for a full-time position in economics for our project to teach economics in English. Teaching duties include

(a) Two courses chosen from microeconomics, macroeconomics, and econometrics, at the master's level.
(b) Introductory economics, intermediate microeconomics, and intermediate macroeconomics, at the undergraduate level.
(c) Courses other than microeconomics, macroeconomics, and econometrics, at graduate and undergraduate levels.

The employment starts on April 1, 2020. The rank of the position is Professor, Associate Professor, or Lecturer. The position is either tenured or tenure-track, depending on the candidate's record. For the tenure-track position, the initial appointment is for five years and the tenure review will be conducted by the end of the fourth year.

The successful candidate must be native English speakers or have native-level fluency in English, hold a Ph.D. in economics by the start date, and demonstrate a record of high-quality research in economics.

The salary will be determined by university regulations. There is a possibility that the annual salary scheme is applied.
