Associate Professor/Assistant Professor
Graduate School of Economics, Kobe University

Applications are invited for Associate Professor (tenure track/tenured) or Assistant Professor (tenure track) Position in the Graduate School of Economics at Kobe University. The position will involve teaching and research within one of the following fields:

• Environmental Economics
• Spatial Economics
• Economics of Innovation

The starting date of the appointment is October 1st, 2019 (or April 1st, 2020). For tenure track position, the initial appointment term is for five years and the tenure review will be held by the end of the fourth year. The salary will be determined based on the regulations of Kobe University (There is a possibility of applying the annual salary scheme).

The candidate: should hold a Ph.D. or is expected to hold a Ph.D. at the time of appointment; has demonstrated excellence in research in the areas of above-mentioned fields; and has the ability to teach in English at the undergraduate and graduate levels.
