Senior-level, faculty-equivalent, staff research position (not teaching or tenure-track).

Perform duties as senior economist, including:
Collaborate with other researchers to determine research needs related to real estate economics.
Design and conduct research projects.

Synthesize and analyze data to form conclusions, models and trends.
Write both technical reports and non-technical industry articles based on research findings.
Present findings to various industry and government audiences.

Required: Appropriate terminal degree in a real estate related discipline, such as economics, land economics, agricultural economics, urban planning, or finance, with emphasis in research methodologies, quantitative analysis, and statistics. Minimum six years of relevant professional experience. Experienced in writing technical and non-technical reports and articles. Excellent communicator to diverse audiences. Able to work cooperatively with other staff. Must be available for in-state travel.
