Full Text of JOE Listing:

Responsibilities
•Direct, manage, and administer the daily operations of the MIRC
o Coordinate and manage seminars, speaker events, and conferences
o Recruit and oversee the student workers
o Manage marketing and communications
o Work with other Texas A&M staff
o Travel when necessary

• Coordinate fundraising efforts
o Identify and contact potential donors
o Prepare grant proposals

• Manage data relationships
o Meet with outside constituencies
o Work with faculty members to manage data projects
o Analyze data for MIRC
o Develop relationships by interviewing for podcasts, drafting case studies, etc.

•Teach classes
o In some academic department on campus (business, economics, policy, etc.)

• Self-motivated
• Ability to work independently
• Strong communication skills
• High degree of integrity
• Willingness to inspire staff productivity
Required Professional Qualifications
• Ph.D. in social science field (economics, business, policy, etc.)
• Willingness to supervise staff
• Data management skills
• Thorough knowledge of Excel

Preferred Qualifications
• 2+ years of professional experience
