Postdoctoral Research Fellow, University of Exeter Business School, Economics

Full-time post available immediately for 24 months. £26,495- £42,418 depending on qualifications

Applications are invited for a postdoctoral environmental economist to join Exeter's Land, Environment, Economics and Policy Institute, which combines world-leading expertise in environmental economics and modelling. The postholder will join an interdisciplinary team developing knowledge and understanding to inform governments, businesses and communities about land and environment management, use and policy.

The successful applicant will be about to complete/ have completed their PhD, with strong quantitative skills in areas such as econometric modelling of agricultural economic systems, spatial analysis (including GIS) and empirical application of environmental economic principles; the ability to work with a variety of data to write up work and results for publication; and the ability to collaborate with academic and external partners. They will work on a variety of projects such as bringing other disciplines into economic analyses related to land use, water, biodiversity, etc.
