The Department of Economics at the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, The Netherlands invites applicants for a 5-year tenure-track researcher position in particular in the fields of labor economics, economics of education or health economics.
Interviews will conducted either at the ASSA meetings in Philadelphia or via Skype.
Candidates should demonstrate strong potential scholary achievement and strong potential to be excellent teachers at undergraduate and graduate levels. Ph.D. required prior to the start of appointment. The candidate must have an excellent command of the English language.
The tenure track researcher position consists of 5 years with possible tenure. The teaching is about 25% of the time. The salary is competitive within Europe and depends on experience.
