Full Text of JOE Listing:
The Department of Economics at the University of Nevada, Reno, invites applications for a nine-month, full-time academic tenure track Assistant Professor faculty position to start Fall 2018. Scholarship in Econometrics, along with the capacity to teach doctoral and undergraduate courses in Econometrics, is the primary focus of the appointment. It is also desirable for the candidate to apply Econometrics to another field that complements the strengths of the department. Candidates with specialization in Spatial Econometrics or Panel Data Methods are encouraged to apply although all areas of Econometrics will be considered. Candidates must have a Ph.D. in Economics or related field by August 2018.
