The Department of Economics at the University of Illinois at Chicago is seeking to fill a Visiting Assistant Professor position in the broad area of Applied Microeconomics, for the Spring 2018 semester. The Visitor will teach two courses during the semester and be expected to participate actively in the intellectual life of the department. The UIC Economics Department has a strong focus on applied microeconomic research.

The candidate should have a Ph.D., evidence of successful teaching, and an active research program. Applications will be reviewed as they are received.

Note that final authorization of the position is subject to state-funding availability.
