Full Text of JOE Listing:

College of Finance and Statistics is one of the most vigorous colleges in Hunan University, Changsha, China. We are now recruiting full-time faculty including, but not limited to, Finance, Money and Banking, Financial Engineering, Insurance, Actuary, Statistics, Econometrics, and Quantitative Economics. Duties include teaching undergraduate or graduate courses, supervising students, engaging in research leading to publications in the SSCI journals, and providing service for the College and the University.

Candidates should have a Ph.D. degree or near completion of the doctorate in the relevant field, and non-Chinese origin should have basic Chinese communication skills.

An annual salary starting from RMB350,000 is provided for assistant professor, and more advanced salary package for associate professor and full professor. Excellent benefits, research-supporting facilities, startup research fund and housing subsidy are also available.
