The Department of Economics invites applications for a tenure-track position at the entry or advanced Assistant Professor level. We primarily seek candidates conducting high quality applied macroeconomic research, but we will also consider candidates with an outstanding empirical research record in the fields of Labor, Development or Industrial Organization.

Candidates also must be committed to excellence in teaching at the graduate and undergraduate levels. Candidates are expected to have completed their Ph.D. in economics by August 31, 2017. The normal teaching load is two courses per semester, with a reduced load for new faculty.

We will be interviewing at the ASSA meetings in Chicago, IL, in January 2017.
