Established in 2014, the Institute is dedicated to creating viable methods and useful tools from decision theory and the theory of networks to alleviate problems related to globalization, unemployment, and increased economic inequalities. USC Dornsife INET will continue to work on research projects focusing on financial markets, forecasting techniques, global modeling with special emphasis on the role of China, the empirical analysis of networks, and the measurement of social well-being.
