Entry level Assistant Professor

Work Schedule: Day and evening classes some weekends

Candidates need personal professional and academic experience for dynamic teaching, research and community service. Teaching a normal class load of 2 courses per term during the normal academic year.
A highly productive research career is expected. Applied research is highly valued.
Community service to both the academy and their industry is expected.

(PhD) in real estate, economics, finance, business or related fields.
Publication record or potential for AACSB Academic Qualification (AQ)
Teaching experience or teaching potential, as appropriate for an assistant level professor.
Strong English communication skills
Strong interpersonal skills
Commitment to multiculturalism/diversity/inclusive excellence

Preferred Qualifications:
5 + years experience in real estate
Some teaching experience with student evaluations available.
Some academic and/or industry organization participation
Commitment to ethics, social responsibility, & global focus in teaching, research, service

The cover letter should include a list of potential research topics the candidate expects to specialize in, a list of the DU Real Estate courses the candidate feels qualified to teach when hired, a list of the DU Real Estate course the candidate would like to teach in the future, a list of the DU Real Estate courses the candidate is NOT interested in teaching and a list of any classes the candidate would propose to develop in the future. The position is expected to begin September 1, 2016.
Informal interviews will be conducted at the ASSA meetings in San Francisco. Please provide at least 3 potential times you are available for a half hour interview.
