The Economics Department in the College of Business at the University of New Haven invites applications for a tenure-track position at the Assistant Professor level beginning in Fall 2016. The economics program at UNH is novel and innovative emphasizing Behavioral Economics & Data Analytics. We are seeking candidates with teaching and research interests in Data Analytics, Risk & Uncertainty, and Behavioral Economics. Teaching responsibilities may include introductory and intermediate level microeconomics, as well as economics courses in the various College of Business graduate programs.

Candidates should have strong communication skills, a demonstrated commitment to teaching excellence, and an interest in applied research. As an AACSB accredited institution, faculty is expected to maintain an active record of relevant scholarship. A Ph.D. at the time of appointment is preferred but ABD candidates will be considered. We intend to process applications promptly in the interest of scheduling interviews to be conducted at the ASSA meetings in San Francisco, CA, January 3rd – 5th 2016. Priority will be given to those applications that are completed by December 10th, 2015.
