Magyar Nemzeti Bank (Central Bank of Hungary), a member of the European System of Central Banks (ESCB), has an opening in its Academic Research Department for experienced or newly qualified PhDs in economics or related fields. Successful candidates are expected to engage in high-quality academic research and may occasionally be re-quested to do policy-related work or provide other units with technical assistance. Applications from candidates working with micro data are also encouraged, as MNB has access to many unique micro-level data sets.
Knowledge of Hungarian is not required.
