Wesleyan University’s Department of Economics invites applications for a position in macroeconomics at the level of associate or full professor to begin July 1, 2016.
Candidates should have a strong publication record, be actively engaged in research, and be committed to effective undergraduate teaching. Candidates are also expected to contribute to the Department’s introductory and core programs. The teaching load is four courses per year. Additional duties include advising and mentoring students, carrying on a program of research, and participating in faculty governance at the departmental and university level. Candidates must have received their Ph.D. Wesleyan values both scholarship and teaching very highly, has a strong, diverse undergraduate student body, and offers a generous sabbatical program and competitive salaries and benefits.
