The University of St. Thomas Department of Economics invites applications for one tenure track position at the Assistant Professor level beginning in September 2016.

In addition to sharing in the teaching of principles of macroeconomics, the successful candidate will be willing to teach courses in macroeconomic theory, forecasting, and econometrics, as well as possibly other courses related to his/her area(s) of interest. The typical teaching load consists of 3 courses (2 preparations) per semester in a small-class setting. Candidates should have their PhD completed or substantially completed by the time the appointment begins (the appointment will be at the Instructor level if the PhD is not completed by September 1, 2016). The department seeks candidates who possess a commitment to both high quality undergraduate instruction and a productive research agenda.

Qualified candidates will possess a PhD in economics or degree substantially completed by start date.
