Ursinus College invites applications for a tenure-track assistant professor in economics with background in Economic Development, and Environmental Economics. Main teaching responsibilities include core course such as introductory economics, intermediate macroeconomics as well as upper division electives within the field. Economic development in African, Asian or Latin American regions is preferred. Evidence of outstanding teaching or teaching potential is essential. Qualified candidates must demonstrate commitment to undergraduate liberal arts education, enthusiasm for undergraduate research, teaching The Common Intellectual Experience, an interdisciplinary first-year seminar, and support the College's commitment to fostering an interdisciplinary experience. PhD required by September 1, 2016. Evidence and promise of excellence in teaching and research required.
