Department of Economics at California State University, Chico invites applications for a tenure-track position at the rank of Assistant Professor in Macroeconomics and Monetary Economics. Applicant expected to teach principles and intermediate macroeconomics, monetary policy, as well as money and banking, statistics, econometrics, forecasting, economic history and/or history of economic thought. Position is contingent upon funding. Salary is competitive. Must complete requirements for Ph.D. in economics or related field prior to the beginning of the August 2016 contract. Teaching experience is highly desirable. Candidate must maintain an active program of research.
