The Department of Economics invites applications for a tenure track assistant professor position to begin Fall 2016. We seek candidates with teaching and research interest in macroeconomics with a focus on institutional economics and US economic policy. Faculty responsibilities include teaching upper-division undergraduate as well as principles of economics courses, research and publication, advising students, and service at all levels of the university. An earned doctorate (Ph.D.) in Economics is required; however, applicants nearing completion of the doctorate (ABD) may be considered. Preference will be given to candidates with teaching experience and strong commitment to excellence in undergraduate instruction. The Department is committed to economic pluralism and welcomes applicants from all economic perspectives.
