CAF is a multilateral financial institution that promotes sustainable development and regional integration in Latin America (more information at www.caf.com).

We are currently seeking Research Economists for the Department of Socio-economic Research. This is a great opportunity to be part of a multi-skilled and multicultural research team that is responsible for the interpretation of the main trends and development issues concerning our region today, conducting applied research on development topics, participating in the analysis and design of public policy strategies and presenting them to policy makers in our shareholder countries and the academic community.

We are interested in Economists whose research interests include labor economics, trade and integration, applied microeconomics, industrial organization, public finance or applied econometrics.

The ideal candidate should have a PhD in Economics, with a desire to conduct research of high standards on the indicated topics and an interest on policy issues. Excellent communication skills and strong analytical and quantitative abilities are required. Fluency in English and Spanish is essential.

This position will be located at our office in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
