The Department of Economics invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track position starting fall of 2016. The appointment will be at the rank of assistant professor. The successful candidate will be expected to undertake an active program of research that leads to publication in peer-reviewed scholarly outlets. All candidates should have a strong commitment to excellence in undergraduate, liberal arts education. We seek a creative economist who will teach undergraduate econometrics and advise and mentor undergraduate students. Particular fields of interest in addition to econometrics are international economics, health, education, race, and the environment, but exceptional candidates from any applied field will be considered.
