We seek an energetic and innovative scholar to join our faculty as a tenure-track Assistant Professor in the Fall 2016 semester. The successful candidate is expected to maintain a record of scholarly achievement in their field and actively supervise applied economic research by both graduate and undergraduate students. Teaching responsibilities will include both B.A. and M.A. level courses, including field courses that reflect the candidate's research and teaching interests.
Our department offers B.A. and M.A. degrees in Economics, and is a partner in a multidisciplinary Ph.D. program. An earned Ph.D. in Economics by date of appointment is required. Individuals interested in this position must submit a letter of application, graduate transcripts, a current curriculum vitae, three letters of recommendations, a writing sample, a concise statement on current and potential research interests, and evidence of teaching effectiveness via student evaluations.
