The Hong Kong Polytechnic University is a government-funded tertiary institution in Hong Kong. It offers programmes at various levels including Doctorate, Master’s, and Bachelor’s degrees. It has a full-time academic staff strength of around 1,200. The total consolidated expenditure budget of the University is close to HK$5.5 billion (US$705 million) per year.
School of Accounting and Finance
Teaching Fellow in Economics (tenable from August 2015) (two posts)
[Appointment period: twelve months initially, with possibility of further appointment)
The appointees will be required to engage in teaching and learning activities, contribute to programme/course planning, administration and development and/or engage actively in scholarly activities.
Applicants should (a) have a relevant doctoral degree, or a relevant master’s degree plus not less than three years of post-qualification tertiary teaching experience; (b) possess good subject knowledge, skills and competence in the appropriate academic or professional discipline; and (c) have an excellent command of English and good communication skills. Preference will be given to those who have relevant teaching experience in tertiary institutions.
Remuneration :
